First time going probably would have added another star. Second time the treatment definitely wasn’t as good , but it’s still a pro that they offer so much group therapy because nowhere else in El Paso or Las Cruces has patients doing so many things. I just don’t feel this is a safe place for transgender people doesn’t seem accepted there

This place was amazing. Great staff, good food, and an amazing environment. My anxiety and paranoia have calmed considerably, and I honestly don't think about self harming or suicide anymore. The only things I'd have to say weren't the best was when points would be deducted without reason (which didn't happen often, but there were one or two times where someone would lose a level, despite not having done anything bad that day), the fact that you couldn't share any contact information with anyone around you (I know a week doesn't sound like enough time to make a connection, but with how open everyone was with each other, it sure as heck felt like it was!), and that the handbook needs to be updated (there's some rules that don't really apply, and some that are missing completely). Otherwise, this place really felt like a little heaven on Earth and really helped me.

Who let's suicidal and homicidal teenagers go swimming?? First of all I was there to be on suicide watch and I don't even know how to swim yet they still encouraged me to swim without a lifesaver. The only good thing about this place is how nice and patient the staff is.

Unlike any patient it was bitter sweet. My second day there i was acting up, all i remember is they gave me this pill to calm my ass down. Lol. Third day they put me in the "quiet room" where they lock you in this room with only 2 pads to literally sit and think about your actions with a camera at the very top corner. I mind you I was seventeen. Very misunderstood however when I went back to pod and straightened my act up real quick. They don't play.. At all! Looking back now I'm thankful for the therapist and staffs patience. Thank you to the girl with short brown hair in the teens pod! Truly an Angel with words of wisdom

Issac delrio and a young lady with shorter brown hair have helped me stay above ground. I hope to not be back any time soon but you both were amazing therapists. God bless you.

I was sent here in March, for overdosing on tons of pills. I've learned a lot during that one week. I've been doing better ever since. So thanks :)
